Logo & Visual Identity
A brand mark grounded in what you actually stand for.
The challenge
Many Montessori schools end up with a logo that was either inherited from a founding moment that no longer matches the school, or designed quickly when something was needed for a t-shirt. The mark feels generic, off-tone, or disconnected from the school the leadership has actually built. Replacing it feels risky, but living with it makes every other communication harder, because the visual signal contradicts the words.
What we build
Studio designs logos and visual identity systems the same way it designs everything else: meaning first, expression second. Before anything is drawn, we surface what the school actually stands for and what its visual language should communicate. The result is a primary mark and a supporting visual system of typography, color, secondary marks, and usage rules, built to hold up across a website, signage, enrollment materials, social, and internal documents without needing constant interpretation.
What’s included
- ✓Brand discovery: a structured conversation about meaning, audience, and what the mark needs to do
- ✓Logo design: primary mark with two to three concept directions, narrowed and refined to a final
- ✓Supporting visual system: typography, color palette, secondary marks, lockups
- ✓Usage guidelines: minimum sizes, clear space, dos and don’ts, accessible color pairings
- ✓File package: all formats and color variants for web, print, and signage
- ✓Existing-brand audit (when a school has a current logo): what to keep, what to retire, what to evolve
Custom engagements typically begin at $4,500 as part of a full brand package.
